The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) on Tuesday summoned Member of Parliament Mustafa Al-Amawi to provide testimony regarding statements he made alleging corruption involving current and former government officials.
A source at JIACC stated that the hearing lasted for more than three hours and focused on verifying the allegations circulated through media outlets and social media platforms.
The source added that Al-Amawi has been granted until Wednesday to submit any documents or evidence in his possession supporting the allegations and violations he referred to in his statements.
