JIACC Announces Registration Open for “Hackathon Competition”

The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the King Abdullah II Fund for Development through the Jordanian Games Lab, announced the launch of registration for the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Hackathon Competition.

The Commission confirmed that the launch of this hackathon comes in response to the Royal directives to enhance the role of institutions in embracing creativity and innovation and implementing of the Economic Modernization Vision. 

In this competition, a group of elite game programmers, designers, and challenge and game enthusiasts gather to compete to create an electronic game within one or all of the following fields:
•    Acts of corruption
•    Standards of national integrity and prevention of corruption.
•    Combating money laundering resulting from acts of corruption.
•    Protection of witnesses, whistleblowers, informants and experts.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        The Hackathon aims to integrate young people into national policies to eliminate corruption by encouraging and motivating them to present innovative initiatives using modern means.

The participants will undergo a training program that will be held at the Jordanian Games Laboratory in Amman over a period of five working days.
