His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday received the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission’s (JIACC) Annual Report for 2025.

During a meeting with JIACC Chairman Hazem Al-Majali, His Majesty stressed the need to continue strengthening citizens’ trust in national institutions.

His Majesty highlighted the importance of JIACC’s role in creating an environment conducive to investment by strengthening the integrity framework across all institutions.

According to the report, in 2025, JIACC recovered, contributed to the recovery of, or prevented the waste of public funds amounting to approximately JD79 million. The Commission also referred 298 investigative files to the Public Prosecution.

The meeting was attended by Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh.

The National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy 2026–2030 was launched on 8 December 2025, during an event marking International Anti-Corruption Day, held under Royal patronage and attended by the Prime Minister as His Majesty’s representative.
